The Employee Rights Act (ERA) is picking up steam. Over 100 members of Congress have already co-sponsored the bill, and that number is rapidly growing—the ERA has gained six co-sponsors in the past two weeks alone.

This week, Newt Gingrich appeared on Fox Business Network to highlight the ERA’s pro-employee provisions. In his words, the ERA “has a lot of protections for the workers as opposed to the union.” See the full segment below:

Gingrich is right. Considering that 80 percent of Americans—Democrats and union households included—support the ERA’s key reforms, the bill is a top priority in 2016.
